Sr. Benefits Analyst

About the Role

This role is a critical part of our People team, focusing on designing and administering comprehensive benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. You'll play a key role in ensuring our employees receive competitive and well-managed benefits that support their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans (e.g., 401k).
• Ensure benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations such as ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with benefits brokers and vendors to evaluate plan performance, negotiate renewals, and resolve escalated issues.
• Conduct benefits enrollment processes, new hire orientations, and ongoing employee communications regarding benefits offerings.
• Analyze benefits data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for program improvements and cost-effectiveness.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear and accurate information and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
• Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or other relevant benefits certification.
• Experience managing benefits programs for a remote-first or distributed workforce.
• Project management experience related to benefits initiatives or system implementations.
