Staff Accountant

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close procedures, including account analysis, preparing ad-hoc reports, reconciling data, and performing analytical activities.
• Lead monthly rent payment processes for all store owners.
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform weekly and monthly reporting on account status.
• Assist with annual audits and provide requested information to auditors.
• Identify opportunities for internal control improvements and assist management with process changes.
• Assist with related special projects and other duties as needed.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of overall general accounting experience.
• BA/BS in Accounting; CPA credentials preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Strong self-starter with the ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills.

• Public accounting experience.
