About the Role

As a Staff Data Analyst at Vercel, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights, directly influencing key business decisions and product strategies. Responsibilities

• Define and establish critical business metrics to track performance and identify opportunities.
• Automate reporting systems and build scalable visualizations for various stakeholders.
• Uncover deep insights from Vercel’s proprietary data to optimize product growth and reduce costs.
• Prototype new analytical solutions and continuously improve data workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and leadership to translate data into meaningful narratives and self-service tools.
• Ensure Vercel’s teams have timely access to the data they need to succeed.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a data analysis role, ideally within a product-focused environment.
• Strong ability to define, establish, and track critical business metrics.
• Expertise in building scalable visualizations and automating reporting systems.
• Demonstrated capability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and narratives.
• Experience in data modeling and working with proprietary datasets to influence strategic direction.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Work Location

This role is remote within the United States. Candidates based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin) may also have hybrid options.
