Staff Data Scientist

As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of identifying and driving new strategic opportunities through advanced machine learning and AI. This remote role, open to candidates in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Portugal, offers a unique chance to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that significantly impact business performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research strategic opportunities to leverage AI and ML for generating substantial business value.
• Design and implement comprehensive data science systems, encompassing data capture, operational processes, experimentation frameworks, and feedback mechanisms.
• Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models, utilizing classical methods such as boosted trees, neural networks, and regressions.
• Explore, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art agentic AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions to automate and enhance critical business processes.
• Conduct rigorous experimentation, testing, and validation to ensure optimal model performance and alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and productionization of data science solutions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Staff Data Scientist or in a similar senior-level role, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives.
• Deep expertise in a wide range of machine learning techniques, including boosted trees, neural networks, and regressions.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI for practical applications.
• Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive data science systems from conception to deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into data science solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams in a remote setting.
