Staff GTM Engineer

About the Role

Join 1Password as a Staff GTM Engineer, a pivotal role where you'll bridge the gap between our innovative security product and our customers. You will empower our Go-To-Market teams and clients by providing deep technical expertise, ensuring successful adoption and understanding of our industry-leading security solutions. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical resource for prospective and existing customers, providing expert guidance during pre-sales and post-sales cycles.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create technical content, case studies, and solution architectures.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical challenges, working with engineering to provide timely resolutions and feedback.
• Gather and synthesize customer feedback to influence product roadmap and development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of GTM processes, tools, and knowledge base.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or GTM Engineer, preferably in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, identity and access management (IAM), or related technical domains.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) or experience with API integrations for automation and custom solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct experience with 1Password or other password management/security solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern IT environments.
• Experience contributing to technical communities, blogs, or open-source projects.
