Staff Product Designer, New Products

About the Role

Join Webflow to define and shape a brand new, AI-native product offering from the ground up, expanding our industry-leading Website Experience Platform.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and launch AI-native features in a new product category, ensuring seamless integration with existing Webflow products.
• Proactively collaborate across different product pillars to untangle complex technical and user experience dependencies.
• Present design vision and strategy to stakeholders and senior leadership, driving alignment through actionable feedback.
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to explore complex problem spaces and prototype potential solutions.
• Regularly engage with customers to deeply understand their needs and pain points.
• Deliver high-quality designs and specifications, using prototyping to clearly articulate design requirements for engineering teams.
• Elevate the craft of design at Webflow by acting as a thought leader for high-impact design decisions and mentoring fellow designers.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience influencing and leading complex design initiatives, preferably in a remote environment.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, capable of distilling complex concepts into intuitive experiences.
• Previous experience designing software that empowers professional or technical users.
• Familiarity with web design industry standards, content management systems, and accessibility best practices.
• A bias toward action, comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels within a high-growth, scaling company.
• A strong growth mindset, optimism, and comfort operating effectively amidst ambiguity.

• You will be responsible for driving user-centric product launches by balancing long-term vision setting with detailed execution.
