About the Role

Join Kraken as a Staff Product Manager for Kraken Prime Institutional, where you will define and execute the product strategy for our institutional clients, shaping the future of digital asset trading and services on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Kraken Prime's institutional offerings.
• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback gathering to identify opportunities.
• Translate complex institutional client needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, compliance, and legal teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prioritize features, manage the product backlog, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Drive product launches, monitor performance, and iterate based on data and user feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in FinTech, institutional finance, or cryptocurrency.
• Deep understanding of institutional client needs, financial products, and market structures.
• Proven ability to define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first global environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with prime brokerage, OTC trading, or institutional custody solutions.
• Familiarity with global financial regulations and compliance requirements in the crypto space.
• Technical background or experience with API-first product development.
• MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
