About the Role

Join Webflow as a Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge AI tools and frameworks, empowering our teams to build LLM-powered applications with speed, quality, and scalability. This is a remote-first position for candidates located in the United States or in British Columbia & Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain best-in-class AI tools and frameworks for internal use.
• Empower engineering teams to develop and deploy LLM-powered applications efficiently and reliably.
• Drive the integration of cutting-edge AI technologies into Webflow's core platform.
• Define and promote best practices for AI development, MLOps, and developer productivity within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements and solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Staff Software Engineer or in a similar senior leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering complex software solutions.
• Deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, particularly with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining developer tools, platforms, or frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, scalable system design, and architectural patterns.
• Ability to drive technical strategy, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction across teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
