About the Role

Join our InfoSec and IT teams as a Staff Systems Engineer to lead innovation at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and automation. This high-impact, hands-on remote role, open across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Portugal, is for a technical leader passionate about building resilient, secure, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to automate operational processes, focusing on scalability and security to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
• Partner with IT and InfoSec leadership to design, implement, and optimize integrations across business-critical IT and security systems.
• Champion compliance with industry best practices and security standards, including CIS Benchmarks, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Support GRC initiatives on control implementation, audit evidence gathering, and efficiency improvements through automation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, with a strong focus on infrastructure, security, and automation.
• Demonstrated technical leadership abilities and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Passion for building resilient, secure, and scalable systems in a digital-first environment.
• Experience with compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks).
• Ability to drive automation initiatives and optimize system integrations.
