About the Role

Join our International Community team as a Strategic Community Specialist to drive Reddit's global expansion, fostering local communities and developing innovative growth playbooks. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of community and belonging for millions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Jumpstart and foster local communities, particularly within the German market.
• Proactively build strong relationships with local volunteer moderators.
• Innovate, iterate, refine, and scale Reddit's international consumer playbook.
• Derive actionable insights from community relationships and experiments to accelerate growth in Germany.
• Develop and prove out a community relations and growth playbook in close collaboration with Product teams.
• Gain a deep understanding of the German market and its unique community dynamics.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in strategic community management and operations.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of the German market.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in international market expansion or community growth initiatives.
• Ability to work remotely from Germany.
