Strategic Partner Manager

About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Strategic Partner Manager to cultivate and expand relationships with our most impactful technology partners. This entrepreneurial role is perfect for individuals passionate about innovative products and architecting mutually beneficial growth strategies that bring new enterprises to Zapier.

Responsibilities

• Build, grow, and own external partner relationships, establishing Zapier as the automation partner-of-choice in the market.
• Manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities from ideation to execution.
• Co-develop best-in-class product solutions and experiences with strategic partners for shared users.
• Develop, negotiate, pilot, and scale new revenue and distribution models with partners and internal teams.
• Support go-to-market efforts for Zapier’s current and future products where partners play a key role.
• Drive internal and external alignment with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Operations, Data, Marketing, and Legal.
• Meet in person with strategic Zapier partners at least quarterly, primarily in the San Francisco Bay area.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing partnerships and net-new business, particularly with larger, complex technology partners.
• Proven ability to lead high-value partnerships/deals from start to finish.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills, including navigating large organizations and influencing key decision-makers.
• Prior experience working with or within large technology companies.
• Demonstrated sales experience in pitching, negotiating, and winning new business, with a track record of operating under revenue-based performance goals.
• Deep understanding of SaaS partner ecosystems and experience in co-developing product experiences.
• Strong product and marketing savvy, with an intuition for partner products and ability to assess integration opportunities.
• Technical aptitude to assess partner products and APIs, provide guidance to developers, and comfortably use AI tools for prototyping.
• Data-driven approach to strategy development, comfortable self-serving insights from BI tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate value to partners and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the workflow automation space and a deep understanding of Zapier and its ecosystem.

• Experience managing co-selling programs with large enterprise partners.
• Subject matter expertise in a key category where Zapier operates.
