Support Engineer

About the Role

Join our globally distributed team as a Support Engineer at Supabase, where you'll provide world-class developer support for our comprehensive Postgres development platform. You'll play a crucial role in helping developers navigate and optimize their use of our integrated backend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and timely responses to all support cases, covering topics from billing to optimization and implementation.
• Triage support cases by directing users to documentation, code examples, or escalating to relevant technical and business teams.
• Monitor multiple feedback channels, including GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Identify and propose internal tooling improvements to enhance support efficiency.
• Reproduce issues, create test cases, and contribute to improving test coverage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in customer support, specifically providing developer support to technical customers.
• Proficiency in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, with comfort in complex queries.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Skilled in using Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with database administration.
• Experience with testing, reproducing issues, and creating test cases.
