Tax Specialist

About the Role

Join our global Tax team as a Tax Specialist, where you will manage complex tax accounting, reporting, and compliance activities, playing a crucial role in Paddle's growing financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare indirect tax returns for Paddle entities, including filings, payments, accounting entries, and audits.
• Assist in the preparation of direct tax returns for Paddle entities, including payments and accounting entries.
• Support transfer pricing adjustments, R&D claims, and other tax planning initiatives.
• Manage one-off projects such as new corporate infrastructure establishment or registrations, and respond to customer tax inquiries.
• Coordinate with third-party company advisors and agents to ensure timely task delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar direct, indirect, or mixed tax role.
• Recognized professional accounting and/or tax qualification.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the tax environment for multinational groups.
• Experience handling complex, large-dataset Excel and Google spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, SQL, or other tax technology.
• Ability to work with high accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
