About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Team Lead, Payroll Operations, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our clients in Taiwan. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, optimize processes, and contribute to a seamless global payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for Taiwan, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Manage payroll cycles, including data input, calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex payroll queries and escalations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, Finance, Product) to resolve payroll-related issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in payroll operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of Taiwan payroll laws, regulations, and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of payroll software and systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms or fintech solutions.
• Professional certification in payroll (e.g., CPP).
• Background in a high-growth or startup environment.
