Team Lead, US Immigration

About the Role

As a Team Lead for US Immigration, you will play a pivotal role in enabling global talent mobility by overseeing all US immigration processes. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and ensure seamless, compliant immigration support for a rapidly growing international workforce in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of immigration specialists, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
• Manage and oversee the end-to-end US employment-based immigration processes, including non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, PERM, I-140, Adjustment of Status).
• Ensure strict compliance with all US immigration laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve immigration policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance and consultation to employees, managers, and HR partners on complex US immigration matters.
• Collaborate effectively with external immigration counsel, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of changes in US immigration legislation and policy, proactively communicating impacts and adjusting strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience specializing in US employment-based immigration, with a strong focus on corporate immigration.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an immigration function.
• Deep expertise in USCIS processes, regulations, and various visa categories.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex immigration concepts clearly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote work environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working within a global HR or People Operations team, particularly in a tech or SaaS company.
• Familiarity with immigration case management software or HRIS platforms.
• Experience with global mobility programs beyond US immigration.
