Technical Account Manager

About the Role

Join Docker as a Technical Account Manager and be the primary technical point of contact for our key enterprise customers, ensuring their success with our platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business and technical needs.
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand the use of Docker products and services within customer accounts.
• Provide technical guidance, best practices, and troubleshooting assistance to customers.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal Docker teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Management) to advocate for customer needs and drive product improvements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
• Monitor customer health and adoption, identifying and mitigating risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or Senior Support Engineer.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable business value.
• Experience with enterprise software sales cycles and customer management.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise networking and storage concepts.
