Technical Lead (Rust/C++)

About the Role

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the technology powering our Strategic Market Making team, designing and developing high-performance trading platforms to drive Keyrock's competitive edge and maintain market leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of talented engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Drive the design, development, and maintenance of high-concurrency, high-performance trading systems.
• Collaborate closely with product management to align engineering efforts with goals and roadmap.
• Implement and enforce best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment strategies.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of systems by implementing robust architectures and engineering practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with System Architect and other Engineering managers on company-wide technical strategy.

Requirements

• Ability to provide both strategic direction and hands-on development across high-concurrency trading platforms.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience partnering with Product Management to translate objectives into scalable architectures and engineering plans.
• Strong understanding and implementation of industry-leading development standards (code reviews, TDD, CI/CD).
• Expertise in architecting and validating robust, secure, and resilient systems.
• Proficiency in Rust and/or C++ as mentioned in the role title and company context.
