Video Content Creator

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and energetic Video Content Creator based in Cape Town to join our team and produce high-impact, social-first video content. You will be a key face of our brand, responsible for concepting, filming, and editing engaging ads that stop the scroll and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Appear on-camera for UGC-style ads, skits, and direct-to-camera explainers.
• Research and deconstruct current social media trends to develop fresh ad concepts and scripts.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Video Lead to shoot content in our studio and on location.
• Edit high-quality, fast-paced videos in Premiere Pro with a focus on platform-native pacing and sound design.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance creative workflows, scripting, and visual production.
• Create storyboards and visual plans using Figma to streamline the production process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content creation, social video production, or creative editing.
• Proven ability to perform naturally and confidently in front of the camera.
• Strong understanding of paid social ad formats on Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and basic experience with Figma for storyboarding.
• Ability to work on-site at our Cape Town studio regularly.
• A portfolio demonstrating successful social-first video content or UGC-style ads.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience creating content specifically for B2B or SaaS brands.
• Practical skills in lighting, audio setup, and camera operation.
• Proficiency in After Effects or AI-assisted video editing workflows.
