Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual maintenance support to residents in multi-family, single-family, and student homes.
• Utilize Happy Force software to review, triage, and manage incoming maintenance tickets.
• Coach residents through basic fixes and troubleshooting via SMS, phone, and video calls, adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with property teams regarding daily operations and necessary escalations.
• Triage emergency maintenance calls, guiding residents through mitigation steps to prevent property damage and escalating as per property-specific procedures.
• Actively participate in product feedback sessions to improve the Happy Force platform.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on on-site residential maintenance experience.
• Fluent verbal and written English language and grammar skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with tools like Zoom and Google Docs, or a strong aptitude to quickly learn new software.
• Deep understanding of the dynamics between residents, property management, and maintenance teams.
• Proven ability to accurately assess, prioritize, and troubleshoot a wide range of basic maintenance issues.
• A helpful, outgoing, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to assist others.

Nice-to-Haves

• Fluent verbal and written Spanish language and grammar skills are a significant asset.
• Experience within the multifamily residential property industry.
