Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust pipelines and tooling for the curation, processing, and quality assurance of large-scale voice datasets.
• Collaborate closely with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to define and implement data quality metrics specific to voice synthesis.
• Design and implement automated systems for identifying, flagging, and resolving data anomalies, inconsistencies, and potential ethical concerns within voice recordings.
• Work cross-functionally with Product teams to translate voice quality requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical role involving data processing, quality assurance, or data engineering, preferably within audio or media domains.
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and building data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of digital audio concepts (e.g., sampling rates, codecs, signal processing fundamentals).
• Experience working with large datasets and familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage).

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct experience with voice synthesis, speech recognition (ASR), or audio machine learning datasets.
• Familiarity with data annotation tools or quality control workflows for creative assets.
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices related to synthetic media and data sourcing.
